Description
|
The
Lyne railway bridge spans the M25 close to
Junction 12. It was designed by the
Southern Region of British Rail in conjunction
with Stressed Concrete Design Ltd for the
Department of Transportation. It comprises
two 54.9 metre continuous skewed spans with an
overall width of 11.6 metres. Apparently,
it was one of the first all concrete cable
stayed railway bridges in the world.
