Description
|
This
eleven-storey T-shaped building sits beside
Holliday Street just off the Suffolk Street
Queensway. Built in the 1970s, it was
originally known as Stanier House, an
appropriate name since it was occupied at the
time by British Rail. Today, the
building displays the logo of W. S. Atkins, a
multinational engineering, design, planning,
project management and consulting services
company. The building underwent an
extensive refurbishment in 2002, which
apparently created a modern, open-plan air
cooled environment.
