Description
This building, across from Hyde Park near Lancaster Gate, was built as a speculative office block by Richard Seifert.  In 1996 it was converted into a hotel by T. P. Bennett.  Between 2004 and 2005 Eric Perry refurbished the building recladding the lower floors with white stone.



Today the Royal Lancaster is described as a 4 star hotel with 416 bedrooms.  It also has two function suites, each accommodating up to 1000 guests, and 14 smaller meeting rooms available to hire.
