Description
The Marriott Chateau Champlain was originally a Canadian Pacific Hotel.  It was built in 1967 to a design by the architect Roger D’Astous, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright.  The hotel offers a choice of 611 guest rooms and suites distributed over 40 floors.  In addition it has 22 meeting rooms, a health and fitness centre, an indoor pool, and a large ballroom.  The arched shaped windows have earned the building the nickname “the cheese grater”.
