Description
Langebro (Long Bridge) is a bascule bridge that crosses Copenhagen's inner harbour connecting H. C. Andersens Boulevard to Amager Boulevard on Christianshavn.  It is one of the two road bridges spanning the waterway.  There has been a bridge on this site since 1886.  This is the fourth version.  Not only is the bridge an extension of Hans Christian Andersens Boulevard, but it is named after a play written by Andersen.
