Description
The Cannonmills Clock was commissioned by Archibald G Bryson, the Sessions Clerk of St Mary's Parish Church in Edinburgh.  It was presented to the city in 1945 to celebrate the allied victory in WWII. In 1991 it was moved a few feet away from its original position when the Standard Life offices were built.  The clocks movement was designed by James Richie & Sons.
