Description
This Modernist church building sits on the foundations of an earlier church built in 1865 to a design by W. W. Pocock.  That building was destroyed by bombing in 1940.  This brick church features a triple entrance above which are balconied windows.



It has a tall corner tower .....



... and a series of long rectangular windows along the Merchant Street side.  The  upper floor is set back.
