Melton Court is
an eight-storey block of flats with shops and
restaurants at street level. It was
erected between 1936 and 1938. The
building is faced with brown bricks and
cream-coloured stone or faience.
Apparently the original design for the block
involved the inclusion of a cinema but it
failed to materialize.
