Ibex House - 42 - 47 Minories, London, UK

Architect
Fuller, Hall & Foulsham
Date Built
1935 - 1937
Location
Minories between Haydon Street & Portsoken Street
Description
Pevsner descibes the Ibex building as, "streamlined indeed and faced with imperishable slabs of buff and black faience".  I gather that the faience was more perishable than Pevsner concluded because parts of it have been replaced.

At street level on the Minories side there is a pub and a sandwich bar.  The rest of the building is a mixture of commercial and residential.
