Description
De Hallen is a multi-use complex developed within a derelict tram depot.  Built at the turn of the last century to house and maintain the city's fleet of electric trams, this facility fell into a sorry state before Andre Van Stigt began to renovate it.  The renovation has preserved and restored many of the original features of this industrial complex while creating a vibrant and functional setting for a variety of retail and service facilities.  Within the walls of the depot you will find: 3 state of the art television studios, a brasserie, a restaurant, the Foodhallen, a movie theatre, a library, a hotel and a craft center.
