33 Colston, Bristol, UK

Architect
Ellis & Clark
Date Built
1929
Location
St Augustine's Parade
Description
This mixed-use building in Bristol's city centre bears the odd address above its entrance of Colston 33, suggesting it is 33 Colston Street,  However, it faces on to St Augustine's Parade and backs onto Holst Street.  This art deco building was originally Northcliffe House and home to the Bristol Evening World.

The Pevsner Guide says that it has a, "... stepped Art Deco clock tower with sculptural decoration, set slightly off-centre in an otherwise reserved façade.  Redeveloped as apartments 2002."
