| The northern most section
of Stockport Road as it passes through what used to be
Longsight runs from the pedestrian footpath north of the
Ardwick Sports Hall to the Daisy Mill. This was
once a busy area of shops, pubs and commerce.
Today there is housing on the west side of the road and
the sports hall and St Luke's School on the east.
The demolition area on the east side has been left as a
