| Between
Kirkmanshulme Lane and Stanley Grove were two of my
favourite places, the Kings and Shaftesbury
cinemas. There was also a "Milk Bar", the 50s
version of Starbucks, The Church and Bay Horse Pubs and
lots of shops including Ainsworths with its clock
