The Church of God of Prophecy
The Former
College Chapel Methodist Church

The Church of God of Prophecy sits on the corner of Hamilton Road and Dickenson Road.

It was founded by students from the Victoria Park College with the mission of bringing Methodism to Longsight.  As the stone on the front of the church shows, it opened its doors in 1907.  At that time it was called the "United Methodist Church".

The Victoria Park College closed in 1934 but the church continued to operate until 1978.

As the sign above the front door indicates, the church is once again open and home to the Church of God of Prophecy, serving an evangelical congregation from the local Community.

Around the corner on Hamilton Road is the church's Sunday School.
