The Birch Park Roller Skating Palace was located close to the corner of Anson Road and Dickinson Road within sight of the entrance to Birch Park. In the 1930s the rink was home to Austen and Queenie Brooks the Roller Skating Dance Champions of Great Britain.

In the 1980s the Roller Skating Palace was changed into a club which in turn went out of business.
