Bickerdike Court is the only residential tower block in Longsight.  It has recently undergone a significant refurbishment that resulted in the building being given a complete recladding.  Below you can see what the tower looked like prior to the make-over.

In addition to the cladding,  balconies were reintroduced along with large format sliding doors, a new ground floor community room was added along with a  refurbished laundry room.  Outside there are new allotments, perimeter fencing, recycling facilities and electric car charging points.  Solar PV panels were installed on the roof to generate electricity that powers lifts and lights in communal areas.
